【Notice】Important Information Regarding Our Complimentary Wi-Fi Connection
|
Dear Members,
Thank you for your continued support of our association.
Following our recent renovation works, we received feedback from several members regarding difficulties connecting to the complimentary Wi-Fi network (SSID: "JAS"). In response, we have conducted a thorough investigation into the matter and would like to share our findings.
Our investigation confirmed that the Wi-Fi system is operating normally, and no functional issues were found with the network itself. However, it appears that the connectivity issues are likely caused by outdated Wi-Fi cache data stored on users' individual devices (such as smartphones), which can prevent a successful connection.
To resolve this, we have outlined the re-connection procedures for the "JAS" network below. If you are experiencing any difficulties, you can attempt the following steps to resolve the issue.
1. Basic Re-connection Steps (Android/iPhone)
- ① Open Settings:
- Tap the "Settings" icon on your home screen.
- ② Access Wi-Fi Settings:
- Select "Wi-Fi" or "Network & Internet."
- ③ Select Network:
- Locate "JAS" from the list of available networks and tap to connect.
2. Reset via "Forget Network" (Recommended for Unstable Connections) If the connection remains unstable, deleting and re-registering the network information often resolves the issue.
- ① Forget/Delete Network:
- Tap on "JAS" in your Wi-Fi settings and select "Forget This Network" or "Delete Saved Network."
- ② Re-register:
- Select "JAS" from the network list again, enter the password, and reconnect.
3. Additional Troubleshooting
- ① Toggle Wi-Fi ON/OFF:
- Turn off the Wi-Fi function in your settings, wait a few seconds, and then turn it back on.
- ② Restart Device:
- Powering your smartphone off and then back on can often improve connectivity.
Following these steps should resolve most connection issues. Thank you for your kind cooperation.
