JAS Major Renovation Schedule

Please note that the access into our building is inconvenient, that will be loud and continuous construction noises (E.g., Drilling, Hammering, Shoveling, etc.), dust, smell and etc. relating to the construction during this period (Oct 2024 ~ tentatively Nov 2025).

We are currently unable to accept reservations for Year 2025 onwards at the moment due to renovation work at our Association. We will post/update on this website once we are ready to start accept reservations. We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused.

JAS members are entitled to use the facility. (Facilities are chargeable)

When applying, please state your membership number and the purpose of use.

Conditions for usage:

① Purpose of use must not be commercial/for profit

② No outside food & beverages are permitted

③ Users must not violate the prohibitions in Article 30 of the JAS Rules.

* Room layout, any other related documents, and food & beverage (F&B) orders must be confirmed by the JAS member (applicant) directly at least two weeks before the booking date.

Providing of equipment (upon reservation of room)

The following equipment can be provided (free of charge) upon prior reservation.

The items that are not listed in the following list is either not for rent or chargeable.

Usage

The auditorium can be used for concerts, recitals, lectures, etc.

Seating capacity 205 seats

Fee $600 + GST (per session)

Morning Session: 09:00 - 13:00

Afternoon Session: 14:00 - 18:00

Evening Session: 19:00 - 23:00

Service staff fee (stage lights and equipment operation: $20+GST/hr/1 staff) will be added separately.

Grand piano rental fee: $100 + GST (per session)

Note: If you wish to hold a concert or a play with music at the reserved Japanese Association's Auditorium (3F), the organiser must obtain a copyright permission from the Singapore Society of Arrangers and Composers (COMPASS) and provide the permission letter and program to the Room Reservation Office in advance.

The room is equipped with soundproofing facilities and can be used for music practice, etc.
