The Charity Draw Committee organizes the annual Charity Draw. With the support of companies in Singapore, we collect cash and in-kind donations, which are offered as prizes. Charity Draw tickets are then sold, and the proceeds are donated through Community Chest Singapore to social service agencies and organizations that support people and communities in need.
In 2025, we sold approximately 6,000 Charity Draw tickets. Together with the proceeds from our Charity Bazaar, we were grateful to be able to donate S$72,000 to eight organizations supporting those in need.
The Social Service Support Committee of the Japanese Association Singapore continues to give back to Singapore, expressing the Japanese community’s gratitude and appreciation for the support we have received.
In 2026, Japan and Singapore celebrate the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations. To mark this milestone, SJ60結-Musubi- A Shared Moment Between Singapore and Japan will be held at the Marina Bay Sands Convention Centre on Saturday, 28 November and Sunday, 29 November 2026.
The SJ60 Charity Draw 2026 draw will take place on Saturday, 28 November 2026, at the SJ60結-Musubi- venue.
