🌰Autumn🍁 has arrived in Japan, and it’s the perfect season for reading📚!

To celebrate, the library has launched “I Can Borrow Books All by Myself!”, a special campaign for children.*

First, pick up a reading points card at the library counter.
Once your child has chosen and borrowed books all by themselves, without help from Mum or Dad, they can bring their receipt to the counter and ask a staff member for a stamp.**

Collect six points to receive a gift! The first 100 participants to reach six points will receive one book from our selection of donated books, plus a sweet treat.*** Participants who reach six points after that will also receive a book from the same selection.

Finding a book on the shelf, borrowing it, and discovering the story inside—
we hope this campaign will give children a chance to experience the joy of reading for themselves.

We look forward to seeing you at the library! ☺︎

Please note:
*The campaign is scheduled to end at the end of January 2027.

** Each child can receive a maximum of one stamp per day. Children must borrow books themselves; books borrowed by an adult on their behalf do not qualify.

***Gifts are limited to one per child.
