Why not experience the deep world of tea ceremony, which is said to be the comprehensive microcosm of Japanese culture? Lessons are held in Japanese and simple English according to your level of proficiency, from beginners to seasoned practitioners. Those who are learning the tea ceremony for the first time will start with practising the fundamental movements and the simplified tea-making procedure using a tray (bonryaku), before advancing to procedures such as using a portable box of tea utensils (chabako) and basic method for making thin tea in view of guests (hira-demae). Beginners are welcome.

We will start a new class (Ryurei) from June.
Ryurei is a form of tea ceremony using table and chair. For those who have difficulty sitting on the floor, please join us for a Ryurei class.
Associate members are most welcome.
