 Japanese School Secondary campus Gymnasium

Introduction: There is the sound of hitting a ball and a cheerful voice! This is the gymnasium of the Japanese School of Clementi campus. When you enter the gymnasium, you will be surprised to see people of wide range of ages and different levels practicing together. From high school students to mothers and fathers whose children are in high school. There are over 20 volleyball enthusiasts from beginners to experienced players in the club.

We practice together with men and women. We have a friendly atmosphere, but with a good sense of tension. We will start from short warm-up, then we practice receiving, women's spiking and then a women's game. After that, the net is raised and the men practice their spikes, followed by a men’s game. If you are a beginner, you can practice with advice from others and of course take part in the matches. No matter how long you've been playing volleyball, you'll have fun at practice.

Twice a year (July and December), the Japanese Association organises a volleyball tournament in which the general public can participate. We are also active in organising and participating in the annual Asia Cup, which brings together teams from all over Asia. In addition to volleyball activities, we also enjoy New Year's parties, BBQs and golf.

There are no restrictions on gender, age or experience. We are looking for people who are "motivated". Come and join us and let's sweat it out!
