ーSummer Festival Commー

Summer Festival will be held at The Japanese School, Changi Campus this year on 24 Aug (Sat). Would you like to perform at the Summer Festival?

We are looking for：Members of JAS, Local school, and groups who have collaborated with JAS previously, and local groups who have contributed to the interaction between Japan and Singapore

Requirements：

1. 1) Able to participate in the rehearsals
2. 2) Submission of application form (2 pages) along with the YouTube link of your performance by 30 June (Sun).
3. 3) Performance suitable for Summer Festival.
4. 4) Performance time is 8 min including entrance, exit, and introduction.
5. 5) Only one application per person (including performer/teacher); multiple applications is allowed.
6. 6) Stage capacity is up to 16 pax for 13 yrs & above and 24 pax for 12 yrs & below.
7. 7) Performers aged 12 yrs & below requires a guardian as a companion.
8. 8) You are responsible for preparing, managing and storing your own equipment for the performance (including rain protection - no roof over the stage).
   9) The order of performers will be determined by the organizer.

*A maximum of 24 admission wrist tags per performer and 1 per leader per group will be given out. For performers, guardians and chaperones who exceed this limit, please purchase an admission ticket.

Notes:

• ・The stage is a bon dance space and there are no handrails to prevent falling off. Performers are responsible for their own safety. Performers who accidentally fall off the stage and cause injury between two parties are responsible for their own safety (first-aid staff will be on standby at the venue).
• ・There will be no waiting room for performers at the venue on the day of the event. Please be free to enjoy yourselves until the performance time.
• ・You may leave your belongings on the chairs in the standby area next to the stage during the performance; no valuable items shall be left with your belongings in the standby area. The organizer will not be responsible for any missing valuable items if they occur.
• ・Please register after making consent to the above requirements & notes.

Application procedure：Download the 2 application form from our website (https://www.jas.org.sg/). The group leader fill in the form and submit to Ms Teo by email. (teo_yumi@jas.org.sg).

Application period：1June (Sat) ~30 June (Sun)

*Depending on the influx of application, the Summer Festival committee have the rights to decide on the performers. Results will be notified by the end of July. Kindly note that the committee is not required to answer any questions regarding the selection.
