About 56 members from 15 families gathered together at the Association's Ballroom (2F) on 30 April (Sat) to join the Children’s Day event organised by the Associate Committee.
The event started with a speech by Mr. Inagaki, Chairman of the Associate Committee. He shared the meaning and origins of the Children's Day and wished the children continued growth and happiness. This was followed by a fun-filled programme prepared by the JAS Storytelling Group that included picture storytelling, a quiz, and hand games to encourage the children's curiosity and active participation. At the end of the program, parents and children enjoyed folding paper kabuto helmets together and sang the Koinobori song while proudly wearing the helmets they had made.
We wish to take this opportunity to extend our heartfelt thanks to the JAS Storytelling Group and the participants for making this event a success.
