ーSocial Service Support Committeeー

The Charity Draw Ceremony organized by JAS Social Service Support Committee was held on 19th November (Sat), the first part at the Auditorium (1st~10th) and the second part at the Sakura Room (11th ~205th).

The first part of the Ceremony started off with an opening speech by Social Service Support Committee chairperson, Mr Hirata. The prize draw was held strictly fair and yet peacefully with JAS President, Vice-President and chairpersons from each committee as the prize drawers, Mr Kang Guo Quan, Senior Associate Director of Community Chest, and Mr Muto, chairperson of JAS Culture Committee, as witnesses.

More than 100 members, including those came with their families, participated in the first part of the draw ceremony. Unfortunately, there were no winners among the participants but everyone was very excited and had a big fun when some won an assortment of snacks provided by Meiji Seika from the participants-only “Special Fun Draw”.

The second part of the draw was held with the chairperson Mr Muto and 10 members who participated and witnessed the draw.

Thank you very much for all who came on the day and participated for the Charity Draw Ceremony.

Proceeds from the draw tickets as well as monetary donations will be donated to the welfare organizations and facilities in Singapore through the Community Chest.
