The JAS Sports Festival held on 19 July (Sun) saw participation from a total of about 2500 people. Ambassador of Japan H.E. Makoto Yamanaka, Mrs Yamanaka, JAS General Committee members and West Coast CCC members also participated in the event.

Preparations for the event started as early as February for a period of almost five months. This year, the sports committee also organised many fun-filled activities. The most popular activity was the Bun Biting Race participated by 1153 people. A total of 925 people competed in the “I’m the Strongest Man/Woman”.
This year, 150 volunteers including Japanese School teachers, JAS social clubs and groups members amongst others rendered their assistance to the event. A big thank you to all the volunteers!
