On 27 Nov (Sat), the JAS Open House & Charity Bazaar was graced by the Guest of Honour RAdm Lui Tuck Yew, Minister for Information, Communications and the Arts with Ambassador of Japan H.E. Mr Yoichi Suzuki and Mrs Suzuki in attendance. A large variety of fun - filled activities such as Japanese picture story telling, Karaoke Contest, Japanese Tea Ceremony, Origami, Igo, Batik Painting and Sushi Fair took place all around the Clubhouse and we are sure everyone had a great time.
Proceeds from the Open House & Charity Bazaar will be donated to charity. This year, 56 companies and groups and 78 individuals lent helping hands. Vouchers donated by 15 companies, stores and restaurants/ eateries, 1000 more handmade items and donated new items were sold out in good demand.
Special thanks also go to the stall vendors at the Atrium (1F) for donating a portion of their sales earnings for the day.
